Recently, we faced a flood in our basement. Our hot water heater burst and couldn't be repaired. A week spent without hot water called on staff ingenuity and perseverance to maintain our high level of sanitation. We boiled pots and pots of hot water and hauled in bucket brigades to where hot-water cleaning was needed. Good news we've got new tanks and hot water. Not-so-good news, our $21,000 bill.
